Authorities in Texas City and the United States Marshals Service seized Christopher Maldonado during a traffic stop on Friday and charged him with tampering with or altering physical evidence with the purpose to obstruct an investigation (human corpse). In addition, he was charged with assault in another incident.
The Texas City Police Department has decided to release Maldonado on bond for $200,000.
