The police have detained two of the suspects in this case.

According to the authorities, a homeowner in Indiana shot and killed two armed intruders over the weekend, and he also reportedly held two further intruders at gunpoint until police arrived at the scene.

When officers from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department and the Auburn Police Department arrived at a home in DeKalb County on Sunday just after 6 a.m., they found two bodies inside the home along with another pair of people who were being held hostage by the homeowner, who was armed with a revolver.

Deputy DeKalb County Sheriff Tabitha L. Johnson and Shaun T. Kruse, both 42, were taken into custody in Fort Wayne (DeKalb County Sheriff)

According to reports obtained from the Indiana State Police, the unidentified homeowner opened fire on the four persons who had challenged him with a gun using his weapon when they confronted him.
