A report that there were secret materials at Mar-a-Lago in addition to those that Trump had previously turned up led to the decision to conduct an operation at the resort.
On Thursday, a close acquaintance of Trump’s informed The News God that the latest allegations that an informant tipped off the FBI about purportedly sensitive papers being held at Mar-a-Lago are “irrelevant.” This statement was made in response to a question posed by The News God.
The insider claims that both the FBI and NARA have been “cooperating” with Trump and officials from the administration of the previous president for the last year.
The source claims that the FBI was given information indicating that there may be secret files at Mar-a-Lago in addition to the ones that Trump turned over.
The News God was informed by a source close to Trump on June 3 that the former president had complied with a grand jury subpoena issued in the spring by handing over documents to the FBI in response to the subpoena. The subpoena was about sensitive documents that Trump may have taken out of the White House before he leaves office in 2021.
