Dora Alvarez Maldonado, 44 years old, was taken into custody by law enforcement in the state of Texas and accused of murder.
On Wednesday, the authorities said that they accuse a woman from North Texas of killing her husband and then drowning him in a stream after she had already killed him.
Someone dialed 911 on Tuesday at about three o’clock to report a female companion with a male companion at a nearby creek. The medical examiners from the Denton Fire Department arrived on the scene and determined that the male victim had passed away.
