This weekend, a crash involving an alleged speeding drunk driver sent two people to the hospital in southeast Texas, including a deputy.
Shortly after 11 p.m. Friday, an on-duty Harris County deputy was traveling north on Tomball Parkway when the police car was rear-ended.
According to the publication, the deputy, who has not been identified, was not responding to any calls at the time of the accident.
According to witnesses, an unidentified male driving a white Mercedes was racing down the highway before colliding with the deputy’s vehicle.
