A 15-year-old boy in Florida is facing trial after a video showing him body-slamming a school resource officer who was trying to break up a brawl between two other pupils.
According to St. Cloud police, SRO Ball was attempting to break up a dispute between two male students at St. Cloud High School when a third male student grabbed the officer about the midsection and slammed him to the ground.
According to the department, the student and the officer got into a physical struggle during which the student continued to fight and resist arrest until witnesses assisted get him under control.
The incident caused no harm to any of them.
