An incident that was captured on video at a convenience shop in Oakland Park led to a call for the public’s assistance in identifying the perpetrator. The footage showed a man being confronted and shot in the face by an assailant from point blank range.
The victim, whose name has not been made public, was transported to the hospital by emergency medical services personnel, and it is anticipated that they will make a full recovery.
The Oakland Park 7-Eleven, located at 3800 North Andrews Avenue, was reportedly close to the location where the event took place, as stated by the police.
