Two people were injured in a drive-by shooting outside a Nashville church on Saturday as they were leaving a funeral ceremony for a lady who had been shot to death earlier this month, according to authorities.
According to Don Aaron, a spokesman for the Metro Nashville Police Department, the shooting occurred just before 1 p.m. outside the New Season Church as mourners were leaving the funeral ceremony for Terriana Johnson, a 19-year-old.
According to Aaron, the shots were fired from a late-model black Honda Civic with a temporary tag, striking a 25-year-old man in the pelvis and an 18-year-old lady in the leg. Both were not thought to be seriously hurt.
Aaron claimed that some funeral attendants who were armed opened fire on the passing automobile.
