More than 1,500 people hailing from the Lone Star State have made their way to New York City this month.
They came from Texas on Saturday and arrived in New York City on two buses carrying 96 illegal immigrants. The majority of those on board were young guys, but there were also a few ladies among them.
More than 1,500 asylum seekers and undocumented immigrants have been brought to New York City by Texas Governor Greg Abbott to bring the issue at the southern border to the attention of the country.
The officials of New York City revealed this week that 14 hotels were being utilized to house the flood of new people in the city.
