On Tuesday evening, officers from the Big Island police department and firefighters raced to a parking lot after getting a call about an incident involving illegal fireworks. When they arrived, they found a guy lying on the ground with a head injury. According to the police, his name was Glen John Nakata, and he was from Kailua-Kona. He was 20 years old.
