The police have said that they would hand over any migrants to the Border Patrol agents.
On Friday, a boat was rammed in Florida, which resulted in the destruction of two engines. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said that they had apprehended the captain of the boat as well as 14 migrants.
Bazaelius Francois, 30, was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a police officer during an argument that occurred this morning about 9:00 a.m. close to the Jupiter Inlet in Palm Beach County.
The sheriff’s office has said that the migrants would be handed up to agents of the United States Border Patrol.
