Ashley Roberts Career
At age 3, Ashley began dancing and also started singing at age 8. She had lovely parents who inspired her to be part of the entertainment industry y. She normally made trips to California for dancing studies during her summer breaks. At age 19, she decided to move to Los Angeles permanently after high school. Within the duration of 6months after moving, she auditioned for the Pussycat Dolls.
When she joined Pussycat Dolls, it was an underground modern burlesque troupe. Jimmy Lovine and Ron Fair who were music producers decided to help this troupe grow further. The troupe now grew into a Pop music recording group. After Jimmy Lovine and Ron fair took over, a recasting process happened. The troupe members that remained were Ashley, Robin Antin, Carmit Bachar, Cydia Batten, Kasey Campbell, Kimberly Wyatt, and Jessica Sutta.
As more auditions followed, singers such as Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton, and Kaya Jones were all added to the troupe. The troupe recorded songs like “We went as Far as We Felt Like Going” for the Shark Tale soundtrack, and “Sway” featured on the soundtrack of Shall We Dance? “Don’t Cha”, “Buttons”, “Stickwitu” and many more. On 27th February, Ashley announced she was leaving the Pussycat Dolls.
She started traveling the world, followed guru Amma and also had several dance /acting classes. She made her first appearance as Brooke in a dance film called Make It Happen.
