Dan Ashworth joined the non-league club Eastbourne Town, playing 21 games and scoring four goals before moving to St. Leonards. Before returning to play for Wisbech Town, Dan coached West Florida Furys in the United States. In the autumn of 2000, he left Wisbech due to the club’s financial problems. Following his retirement from football, Dan was appointed academy director at Peterborough United in 2000.
