Vincent Klyn’s first and most memorable film role was as the primary villain Fender Tremolo in the 1989 science fiction action picture Cyborg, against Jean-Claude Van Damme as the hero, Gibson Rickenbacker. According to the audio commentary on the Urban Menace DVD, director Albert Pyun saw Klyn while surfing one day and instantly believed he would be an ideal fit to portray a villain due to his incredible body and aggressive appearance.
Except for Gangland from 2000, he still got most of his significant roles in movies directed by Albert Pyun, such as Bloodmatch, Kickboxer 2, Dollman, Alongside Nemesis, Knights, Blast, The Wrecking Crew, Corrupt, Urban Menace, and Max Havoc: Curse of the Dragon.
Klyn’s other appearances were notable as on-screen characters on the Baywatch television series during the 1990s and 2000s. He was featured in the episode “Showdown” of the television series The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.
