The governor of Utah, Spencer Cox, has said that his state is the best place in the country for starting new businesses.
On Friday, the Republican governor of Utah advised residents of California who are contemplating moving to other Republican-controlled states like Utah to reconsider their decision and stay in their current homes.
“We’re experiencing the opposite issue,” Utah Governor Spencer Cox told reporters in front of the White House, “this past census revealed that Utah was the fastest-growing state in the previous 10 years.” This came about after New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy detailed the many methods he intended to attract individuals to relocate to the state.
“That indicates that concerns relating to growth are now the major focus of our attention. We never stop looking for new methods to prevent people from leaving the state of California in search of refuge in another state, such as Utah.”
According to Cox, the two most critical growth-related challenges in his state are housing and water availability.
