The reasons for the almost deadly shooting of the former president Trump remain unknown.
According to a source, the guy from Pennsylvania who attempted to kill the former president Trump on Saturday climbed atop an air conditioning unit to get to his rooftop firing position.
At a rally on Saturday in Butler, Thomas Crooks, 20, fired multiple times from an AR weapon that was reportedly his father’s, hitting Trump in the ear and killing a rallygoer, according to ABC News.
Before the shooting, authorities say, the disturbed loner bought a ladder from a nearby Home Depot, but he didn’t use it to climb the structure, which was located about 150 yards from where Trump was speaking.
