Images show Donald Trump stepping out of a black SUV and heading up the ramp to his private plane after leaving the vehicle. He has been charged with 37 charges, including, among other things, lying and concealing evidence relating to matters of national security. He has been indicted. Authorities in Miami and at Trump’s resort at Mar-a-Lago are preparing for the possibility of protests taking place there.
This is the second trip that President Trump has made this year between the Northeast and Florida in connection with the criminal claims that have been leveled against him, and it entails making another court appearance. Additionally, he was required to appear in court on additional charges, so he made the trip from Florida to New York City at the beginning of April.
The majority of the 37 charges that have been brought against Trump this week are the 31 counts of willfully withholding information related to the nation’s security, the three counts of withholding or concealing documents related to an investigation being conducted by the federal government, the two counts of making false statements, and the one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice.
