Interestingly, the same machine had also predicted Spurs to go down against Manchester CIty and Ajax. Instead, Mauricio Pochettino’s men, against all odds, surprised the masses to emerge in the final of Europe’s premier football showpiece. Football matches remain unpredictable and seeing the way the pendulum has swung in the last couple of Champions League matches, Saturday’s tie is likely to be another dicey night.
