Butch Cassidy’s first bank robbery was on June 24, 1889, when he robbed the San Miguel Valley Bank in Telluride along with Warner and two of the McCarty brothers. Cassidy and his group were believed to have stored about $21,000.

The group’s first bank robbery was on August 13, 1896, when it took around $7,000.
