To fight hate crimes against Asians, President Biden will meet with the K-pop group BTS.
On Tuesday, President Biden will meet with Chairman of the Federal Reserve Jerome Powell to discuss record-high inflation. Following that discussion, the President will go to Korea to meet with the K-pop group BTS.
According to the itinerary released by the White House, President Biden will first meet with the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern, followed by a meeting with the Chairman of the Federal Reserve, Ben Bernanke, to discuss the economy of the United States.
Since Biden announced in November that he was contemplating nominating Powell for a second term as Chairman of the Federal Reserve, the two have not had any communication with one another. At the moment, the United States is experiencing an inflation rate that is the worst it has been in forty years, and there is a good chance that it will get even worse.
