Chelsea are win less in their last four Premier League matches. Chelsea have only two points in those four Premier League games.
The blues found themselves in the seventh position in the Premier League after defeats to Brighton and Arsenal. Pressure have started mounting on Graham Potter after the back to back to defeat in the Premier League.
Chelsea could find themselves far below the Premier League table as they prepare to face in-form Newcastle United away from home.
One Chelsea player that also struggles is Chelsea’s summer signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The former Arsenal skipper has scored three times in 10 appearances for Chelsea. He has only one goal in the Premier League since joining Chelsea.
However, Tim Sherwood believes Graham Potter could face the sack if Chelsea continues their poor form and claims Chelsea are making Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang look like a bad player.
What did Tim Sherwood say?
He said on The Kelly and Wrighty Show: “You can’t argue they haven’t got the strike force. Chelsea are making two prolific goalscorers in the Premier League in Aubameyang and [Romelu] Lukaku look terrible.
“They need to look at themselves. I know it’s two different managers, it’s not all Potter’s fault it’s [Thomas] Tuchel’s as well.
“But that control of the game is quite boring. I like control of the game and playing progressively forward, but they are not passing it forward quickly enough.
“It’s very difficult to get continuity when Graham Potter keeps making so many changes. You’re not at Brighton anymore, you can’t experiment, you haven’t got time to do that.
“If you lose one more game everyone will be looking at him. They’re not playing well and we don’t know his best side.
“Everyone is in different positions so they need some continuity and a way of playing. He’s trying to keep everyone happy but at this rate, he’ll be sacked and they’ll get a new manager in.
“He needs to start leaving big players out and that’s what being a manager of a big club is about. I think he’s trying to keep everyone happy but they’re not picking up enough points.”
Graham Potter could face further scrutiny if he fails to get a positive result against Manchester City and Newcastle United before the World Cup break.
