After the shooting at Uvalde, one officer asserts that Salvador Ramos opened fire on the officers who responded to the scene.
A law enforcement officer revealed on Wednesday that the suspect who “just starting killing everybody that was in his way” as he responded to the carnage at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, fired on numerous responding cops. The statement was made by the law enforcement officer.
On the show, “Today” on NBC, Lt. Chris Olivarez of the Texas Department of Public Safety explained that the events that led to the murders of 19 children and two teachers began when Salvador Ramos shot his grandmother and then crashed a vehicle while fleeing the scene of the shooting. Olivarez said that this was the first event in the chain of events that led to the deaths of 19 children and two teachers. According to Olivarez, the authorities were soon notified that an armed individual was making his way into the school.
