Law enforcement officials are looking for Omar Alexander Cardenas in connection with the shooting death of Jabali Dumas in 2019. The homicide took place just outside of Los Angeles.

The name of a key California murder suspect from 2019 has been added to the list of the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitive suspects.

Omar Alexander Cardenas, age 27, is accused of opening fire and causing the death of Jabali Dumas, age 46, on the 15th of August, 2019, in an outdoor shopping complex located in Sylmar, California, just north of the city of Los Angeles.

Cardenas is seen on surveillance tape walking into the parking lot and going into the back pocket of his jeans in an apparent attempt to get a gun. A little less than a minute later, he reappears, but this time he is rushing away.

According to the Los Angeles police, after the two men got into a verbal disagreement, Cardenas reportedly went back to his car to get a handgun and then shot the victim after returning from the car.
