In January, the young man was allegedly responsible for shooting a law enforcement officer in the leg.
The accusations against the 16-year-old rapper who was accused of shooting an NYPD officer earlier this year have been dismissed, according to the officials.
The New York City Law Department stated on Friday declaring that “Camrin Williams, 16,” “cannot be prosecuted.”
After what is believed to have been a gunshot in January by Williams, also known as C Blu, Officer Kaseem Pennant had to have his leg amputated.
According to the allegations, Williams accidentally shot Pennant after the two got into a fight. Williams was wounded in the groin by the gun that had mistakenly discharged before entering his thigh and injuring the officer. The officer was hit by the bullet that had entered Williams.
