According to the authorities, an 11-year-old girl was killed in the Bronx, New York, by a bullet that was fired accidentally from a motorized scooter. The incident occurred during the day.
During the day on Monday, Deputy Chief Timothy McCormack, who serves as the commanding officer for detectives in the Bronx, observed, “This is exceedingly difficult for us to grasp.” It is now the second time this year that a child has lost their lives within the borough.
The New York City Police Department (NYPD) shared a video on Monday afternoon that showed two individuals on scooters approaching a man who was on foot in the building’s entranceway. The encounter was captured on tape. One by one, people on scooters pass him, but there is one runner who is heading in the opposite direction. After that, it looks like he’s firing at the man who’s approaching him on foot with the passenger on his scooter.
Kyhara Tay, a young girl 11 years old, was found with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was transported to Lincoln Hospital. According to The News God, she was with her family when the shootings took place. She was not alone. Her passing occurred on a Monday afternoon.
