On Wednesday night, Ramiro Gonzales was executed by lethal injection.
Ramiro Gonzales, a Texas death row convict, was executed by lethal injection on Wednesday in spite of many appeals to the U.S. Supreme Court about his 2001 murder and rape of an adolescent lady.
Gonzales received a chemical injection at the state prison in Huntsville and was declared dead at 6:50 p.m. Following his admission that he had shot and killed Bridget Townsend, an 18-year-old from southwest Texas, whose remains were discovered almost two years after she went missing in 2001, he was put to death.
