Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy is considering changing his name to ‘suit’ his status now.
The award-winning musician born, Livingstone Etse Satekla, adopted the name Stonebwoy in the early stages of his career.
According to him, he added ‘bwoy’ to the ‘stone’ in his name forming ‘Stonebwoy’, however, the “Kpo keke” hitmaker now a full-grown man with a beautiful family and a successful career, thinks it is time to change to something that matches his status now.
In a tweet, Stonebwoy said, “Now that boys are turning into men… is it advisable to just switch it up to 1GAD?? Or keep it as the aka? #AnlogaJunction? ”

A lot of artist at some point in their career have changed their names from one to another.
Notably amongst them is dancehall artiste Bandana who after a long break from music returned rebranded as Shatta Wale, Tic Tac also returned after a long break from music as Tac.
‘Linda’ hitmaker Batman after a decade in the music industry changed to his native name, Samini Dagati.
