Career
After graduating high school, Stone joined the United States Air Force and later became an aerospace medical services technician. He was initially assigned to the 60th Medical Operations Squadron pediatrics flight at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California. He trained at the United States Forces Azores as a medical technician to screen children who required treatment. Due to his courageous actions in France, Stone was promoted to senior airman at Travis Air Force Base in California in October 2015. Stone was promoted to staff sergeant on November 1, 2016, per the directive of Chief of Staff General Mark A. Welsh III of the United States Air Force.
Stone attended Airman Leadership School in January 2015 to become a non-commissioned officer. After meeting with U.S. Ambassador to France Jane D.
