On Thursday, the Republican senator from South Carolina and rising star in the party will be the featured speaker at an event hosted by the Iowa Republican Party.

Representative Tim Scott, a Republican from South Carolina, does not have any opponents in the Republican primary election that will take place in South Carolina the following week.

“It does allow me opportunities to aid my colleagues throughout the country without a primary,” Scott, a rising star in the Republican party, said. “It does allow me to assist my colleagues throughout the country.”

In the current process of the Republican party’s quest to recover control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate in the upcoming midterm elections in November, Scott has claimed that he is “looking for ways to be helpful” in the campaign.
