On Monday, a small engine plane crashed nose-first into a Southern California airport structure.
A single-engine Cessna 172 crashed at Long Beach Airport shortly after 2:15 p.m. in what looked to be a hangar.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the disaster occurred when the pilot was practicing takeoffs and landings.
According to Fox Los Angeles, the pilot was the sole person on board the Cessna plane and suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the crash was unknown. Images from the site show the plane atop the structure, its nose buried within. Firefighters encircled the airplane.
