Former owner of Crystal Palace and the host of the Jordan and white show on talk sport Simon Jordan has urged Manchester United to sell Marcus Rashford to Paris Saint Germain.
There are rumors that Paris Germain is interested in England international Marcos Rashford from Manchester United. The Parisian Club values the 24-year-old between £60 -£70 million.
Rashford had been one of the top performers for the Red Devils but endured one of his worst seasons for Manchester United. The England international scored only five goals in 32 outings for Manchester United last season.
However, Simon Jordan claims Manchester United should sell Marcus Rashford to Paris Saint Germain, claiming his time at Manchester United is up and he is not a Super Star.
What did Simon Jordan say about Marcus Rashford to Paris Saint Germain?
Speaking on his show on TalkSports(Jordan and White show), The 54-year-old said: The problem with Marcus Rashford is that he has been built up in the minds of many people that watch him, or don’t watch him, at a level that he’s not really at.
“At that level, he’s been judged at, his standards have diminished when really and truly he’s a good player capable of playing for Manchester United and England.
“But he’s not this superstar world-beater that people have alluded to and put him on a pedestal.
“If I’m Manchester United – given what I’ve seen from him and given the fact his agent is at it – I’d send him to PSG in a cab.”
Simon Jordan also added that Marcus Rashford’s time at Old Trafford is over and they should let him leave.
“I think Marcus Rashford’s time at Manchester United is done.
“I think he needs a change of direction. I think his performances have been entirely based upon his outlook and attitude, with some of it being situations off the field – not necessarily meaning his charitable work.
“I think there is a change required. People like Marcus Rashford are beginning to fall into a camp that Memphis Depay and Anthony Martial have fallen into, which is bags and bags of ability but not enough delivery regularly.
“United needs better.”
Meanwhile, Paul Merson has revealed that he will be surprised if Manchester United beat Brentford.
The former Arsenal playmaker revealed via Sportskeeda, saying: “Brentford pulled off a great comeback last week. Manchester United was Manchester United, weren’t they? They’re no different from last season, and I don’t see them winning this game.
“One’s a team, and the other one isn’t. Man United are exactly the same as they were last season.
“They don’t have an identity. You see Premier League teams go out with a plan, move the ball, and work through the lines. With Manchester United, if it happens, it’ll happen – it hasn’t been worked on.
“I’m not sure if Cristiano Ronaldo will start this game. If he’s not staying, why would you start him? It depends on what’s going on behind the scenes. They need to move on sooner rather than later.
“A week and a half ago, he walked out of the ground because he wasn’t playing. To say that his behavior is unacceptable and then to have him play in the first Premier League game of the season is no big statement by the manager.
“Manchester United are all over the place at the moment, and I’d be shocked if they pulled off a victory here. I don’t see Brentford losing this match, and a draw is a fairly likely outcome.”
