Following the imposition of prison sentences on their parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, the star of “Chrisley Knows Best” was appointed as the legal guardian of his younger brother, Grayson, and his niece, Chloe.
Savannah Chrisley is speaking up about her life after becoming a mother and getting married for the first time.
The actress from “Chrisley Knows Best” spoke with the singer Lindsay Ell on the episode of her podcast titled “Unlocked” that she feels marriage entails “giving over a part of yourself so you can get hurt,” in contrast to the “forced responsibility” that comes along with having children.
I don’t know if it’s perhaps because kids are your responsibility, so if I were to have a baby, it would be my duty to take care of them, and I know it would sound awful to many people. I don’t know why I feel that way. She said, “And I make sure that they get from point A to point B, as well as all these other things.”
However, by entering into a marriage, one “gives over” a portion of themselves to another person, giving that other person the ability to harm them. It’s an odd occurrence, and I’m not really sure how to make sense of it all at this point.
