Ryan Sessegnon was allowed by Tottenham to Hoffenheim for a season-long loan. After arriving from Fulham for a reported £25million in August 2019, Sessegnon struggled to establish himself in Spurs’ first team.
The 20-year-old now looks for a further development on the Bundesliga side that will also take part in this season’s Europe League.”Hoffenheim stands for the successful training and development of young players,” Sessegnon said in a declaration.
I’m looking forward to the move, and it’s a matching experience in one of the world’s top professional leagues. Alexandre Rosen, football director at Hoffenheim: “Ryan Sessegnon, with a strong left foot, is a very talented and quick winger.
“After the serious injuries suffered by Ermin [Bicakcic] and Stafy [Konstantinos Stafylidis], both of whom will not be available for several months, we were looking for a high-quality addition to our squad and are very happy to have found one in Ryan.”
Versatile left-sided player Sessegnon made 12 appearances in all competitions for Spurs last season, scoring once and assisting another.
