Europe Elite clubs are in for a tight race for the signature of Jude Bellingham. The English international broke into the scene after his move to Borussia Dortmund at the age of 17. He is one of the sought after and highly rated footballers in the World now.
The 19-year-old finally showed why he is one of the highly demanded players in the world after his impressive performance for England during the World Cup in Qatar despite England being kicked out of the World Cup in the quarter-finals by France.
Dortmund are reported to be demanding over £150 million for the 19-year-old. Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Real Madrid are fighting for the signature of Jude Bellingham.
However, Manchester United Legend Rio Ferdinand has urged Jude Bellingham to snub Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Real Madrid for Manchester United.
What did Rio Ferdinand say?
The Manchester United Icon said on his YouTube Channel, Vibe with Five: “Jude Bellingham has been a phenomenon at the World Cup.
“He has announced himself to the world now that he’s a player here to say.
“He has got so much growth, room for improvement still, but he absolutely influenced games in an England shirt as we’ve never seen a teenager do for England.
“Manchester United, bring him here. Make that your home, Jude. You come and help change shift the culture and take the club to the heights it should be at!’
“He’s been flying the flag abroad, he’s done his bit in Germany, it’s time to come home baby.”
Meanwhile, former Manchester United and France striker Louis Saha has also encouraged Jude Bellingham to join Manchester United next season.
The former striker said on Paddy Power: “For quite a few years now, United have been a team who have lacked energy and fitness in games, and have been outrun in matches, which is not normal if you’re trying to return to the top, so that is something that Bellingham would be able to bring in if he came to United.
“Jude would be able to pick out the right passes to the more agile players, in a similar way to what Bruno Fernandes does by being a box-to-box midfielder.
“Manchester United would be an incredibly tough team to defend against if they had Jude Bellingham and Bruno Fernandes in midfield together, with Casemiro sitting behind them as cover for the defenders.
“I would love to see Jude Bellingham at Manchester United, not only as a fan but also because he’d be the perfect fit in the midfield.”
There were reports earlier this week that Liverpool are leading the race to Jude Bellingham. With Jordan Henderson reaching the end of his career and Thiago Alcantara and Naby Kieta having frequent injury problems, The signing of Jude Bellingham will be a fantastic addition to Liverpool.
