Raheem Shaquille Sterling MB was born on 8th December 1994 in the Maverley district of Kingston, Jamaica. He is 170cm.
Raheem’s mother, Nadine Clarke, was a competitive athlete with the Jamaican National Athletics Team. His father was brutally murdered in Jamaica when he was only two years. He later emigrated to Neasden, London, with his mother and attended Copland School in Wembley. At the age of 10, Sterling spent 4 years with the Alpha and Omega Local Youth Team before signing for Queens Park Rangers as a winger.
