The officers in question have been put on administrative leave and will be subject to what are being called “internal disciplinary charges.”
A prisoner who was housed in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Yonkers and managed to escape early on Sunday morning is now on the run from the law.
Geraldo Rojas is alleged to have broken out from the Westchester County Department of Corrections while he was being held in jail, according to the Yonkers police.
Yonkers Police Department has been asked to help the Westchester County Department of Public Safety in their hunt for Rojas. This request was made by the Westchester County Department of Public Safety.
