President Akufo-Addo caused the death of Sir John – Yamoah Ponkoh

Former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ejisu-Juaben constituency, Afrifa Yamoah Ponkoh, has blamed President Akufo-Addo for the death of Mr Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, popularly known as Sir John.

According to the astute Communicator for the NDC, the Akufo-Addo led administration is giving the virus it best chance to spread quickly by allowing the Electoral Commission of Ghana carry out it planned agenda of Compiling a new register.

Speaking on Okay FM Ade Akye Abia, Yamoah Ponkoh noted that had government stop the EC from going ahead with the new register, the country will not experience high Covid-19 death rates.

“Akufo-Addo should be blamed for the death of Sir John. This is because he allowed certain things to go on which allows the virus to spread quickly. The CEO of Forestry Commission died yesterday aged 77.

According to reports the Chief Executive Officer of Forestry Commission died of coronavirus.

He succumbed to complications of the disease while undergoing treatment at the ICU of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

The lawyer cum politician had previously served as general secretary of the governing party between 2010 and 2014.
