The Los Angeles Police Department was alerted after receiving a report of a violent assault that involved the use of a lethal weapon.
On Monday, a man took hostages and barricaded himself inside his hotel room in Los Angeles. As a result, law enforcement officials have surrounded the premises.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, an officer from their department responded to a call about an attacker armed with a pistol on Sunday night. The cops claim that the man then barricaded himself inside his room at the Travel Lodge Motel after taking two adult female hostages.
Even though officers are still present at the crime scene, they have begun talking to the person who is suspected of committing the crime.
