The Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service has disclosed the plan of action on some of the wild allegations the Assin Central legislator has made against some pastors he claims to be fake.
Public Relations Officer for the CID in Accra, DSP Juliana Obeng, indicated in an interview monitored by Thenewsgod.com that the Department will look into allegations by Kennedy Agyapong against some pastors in Ghana.
However, the DSP did not give the said date the Department will start it work and the how it will go about it.
Ealrier this week, security expert, Mr Adam Bona, called on the security agencies in the country to look into some of the allegations Kennedy Agyapong has leveled against some men of God.
Mr Bona then noted that the Police should be more interested in the ongoing revelations Mr Agyapong is giving out gainst some fake pastors.
The Maverick politician who sees the act of some acclaim men of God to be fake, has dedicated his time to expose them one by one on his NET2 Seat Show every Monday’s and Wednesday’s. The founder and Leader of God’s Way International Church, Bishop Obinim was the first to have been exposed by the MP.
After Mr Agyapong’s expose, Obinim was charge by the Ghana Police Service for publishing false news and forgery of document contrary to sections 208 and 159 of the Criminal and other offences Act, (1960) (ACT 29) respectively.
Currently, Mr Agyapong is on the neck of Prophet Nigel Gaisie which according to the former is one of the fake men of God who dupes people especially females and gives fake prophecies.
Kennedy claims that Nigel Gaisie masterminded the death of some prominent people in the country to fulfill his prophecies.
DSP Juliana Obeng said she has not been cleared to comment on the specific allegations by Mr Agyapong and how they affect the CID’s work, however, she promised that they are of interest to the CID.
