Sunday morning at a tavern in Kansas City, Missouri, at least three people were killed, and two others were injured, according to authorities.
Officers arrived at the Klymax Lounge on Indiana Avenue at 1:25 a.m. and discovered multiple victims, according to an email from Kansas City Police Officer Donna Drake to Fox News Digital.
Drake stated that one of the deceased victims was discovered inside the lounge and the other outside the building.
A third victim perished in the hospital after being rushed there.
Drake stated that two additional shooting casualties were rushed to the hospital. The condition of one of the victims was critical, while the other was stable.
Police believed that all of the victims were adults, but their ages and identities were not immediately available.
Police did not immediately disclose information regarding a suspect or the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting.
Sunday morning, police reported that homicide detectives and crime scene investigators were processing the site and interviewing potential witnesses.
