Oklahoma police detained a 32-year-old man for reportedly soliciting sex with a 2-year-old girl.
Following a complaint to the police, Michael Jon Overby is now charged with making lewd, indecent proposals or acts to a child and accessing a computer with malicious intent, according to the Oklahoma City Police Department.
According to court documents obtained by FOX 25 Oklahoma City, Overeby allegedly met a dancer at the Red Dog Saloon and texted her on March 12 asking if she permitted sex with her 2-year-old daughter.
When the woman reported Overby to the police four days later, they advised her to text Overby again and request a face-to-face meeting.
“I have given it some thought. You’re not going to harm her physically in any way, are you? “The woman wrote.
In response, Overby said he would have sex with the little child at his flat; as a result, police detained him.
On a $200,000 bond, Oberby is being held in the Oklahoma County Detention Center
