Police in Florida reported on Tuesday that a mother fatally stabbed her own daughter, who was only three years old at the time.
According to the police, a woman contacted 911 from an apartment complex in North Miami Beach and identified herself as the mother. This led to the dispatch of law enforcement officers to the location.
According to WSVN-TV, investigators spent many hours on Tuesday morning going in and out of the apartment at Northeast 10th Avenue and 163rd Street as they collected evidence at the scene of the crime.
