The Bronx subway train attack on a mother and her daughter is the subject of a search by the New York City Police Department for a woman.
A 36-year-old woman was standing on the northbound “5” train at the Westchester Avenue and Simpson Street subway station with her 10-year-old daughter at about 4:37 p.m. ET on Tuesday, October 18.
The two were being punched in the face and mouth by an unnamed female who then fled the train for “parts unknown.”
The attacker did not provoke the attack, the victim, who wished to remain anonymous, told WABC.
