Let’s get started.

NFL moneyline betting

The moneyline is the most common way to bet on the NFL. To bet on the moneyline, you must pick which team you think will win the game. If you think Team A will beat Team B, you would bet on Team A. If they win, you win your bet. If they lose, you lose your bet. It’s that simple.

There is no point spread to worry about, so if your team wins by even one point, you still win your bet. Moneyline betting is perfect for fans of teams that are usually considered underdogs. Because there is no point spread, these teams can often be found at plus-money odds (meaning you would profit more than $100 if they won).

While moneyline betting is simple, it’s also risky. Because there is no point spread, the team you bet on needs to win outright. That means they not only have to beat their opponent but also by enough points to cover the spread. If Team A is a heavy favourite (-200), they need to win by more than two points to cover the spread. If they only win by one point, you lose your bet. For more details, find out what advices given by The Sports Geek experts.

NFL spread betting

The most popular way to bet on NFL games is against the spread. The spread is the number of points a team is favored to win. For example, if the New England Patriots are playing the Miami Dolphins and the Patriots are favoured to win by 14 points, you would bet on the Patriots -14. If you bet on the Dolphins +14, you would be betting that they will either win outright or lose by less than 14 points.

For you to win your bet on the Patriots -14, they must not only be at the Dolphins but also by at least 15 points. If they only win by 14 points, then it is a push, and your bet is refunded. You win your bet if the Patriots win by more than 14 points.

Conversely, if you bet on the Dolphins +14 and they lose by less than 15 points, then you win your bet. If they lose by exactly 14 points, it is a push, and your bet is refunded. Finally, if they lose by more than 14 points, then you lose your bet. You can also search for NFL picks online.

NFL totals (over/unders)

When it comes to betting on NFL games, one of the most popular bets is the over/under (or O/U) bet. This is a bet on whether the combined score of both teams will be over or under a certain amount. The thing to keep in mind with O/U bets is that oddsmakers (the people who set the lines) are very good at what they do. So if you see an O/U line that looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Another thing to keep in mind is that these lines can move around quite a bit leading up to kickoff. So if you see a line you like, don’t wait too long to bet it.

NFL parlay betting

Parlay betting is a popular form of wagering on NFL games. A parlay bet combines two or more individual bets into one single bet. For example, you could place a parlay bet that the New England Patriots will beat the New York Jets and the Dallas Cowboys will beat the Washington Redskins. If both teams win, you would win your parlay bet.

Parlay betting can be highly profitable if you can predict the outcome of multiple games correctly. However, it is also very risky as you can lose your entire stake if just one team loses.

NFL live betting

The National Football League (NFL) is one of the most popular sports leagues in the world and one of the most bet-on. Live betting on NFL games has become increasingly popular in recent years, allowing bettors to get in on the action as the game unfolds.
