New York AG Sues Donald Trump, of His Children for Business Fraud

The New York Attorney General’s office has filed a lawsuit against Donald Trump, his children Ivanka and Don Jr., and the Trump Organization, alleging “persistent illegal conduct” in the operation of the Trump family’s business empire.

The suit, filed in state Supreme Court in Manhattan, alleges that the Trump Organization engaged in “a pattern of persistent illegal conduct” in the operation of its business, which “repeatedly violated” state and federal laws. The suit alleges that the Trump Organization used false and misleading statements to lure investors into a failed business venture, and then misused funds from those investors to pay back other investors and to enrich the Trumps.

Trump Family Businesses Accused of Misusing Investors’ Money

According to the New York AG, Donald Trump and his 3 children have been accused of business fraud. They allegedly misused investors’ money to fund their lavish lifestyles. The AG is seeking to dissolve the Trump Organization and recover the money that was allegedly stolen.

This is not the first time the Trump family has been accused of fraud. In the past, Donald Trump has been accused of fraudulently misleading people about his involvement in business ventures. This latest accusation, however, is the first time that Trump and his children have been accused of actually misusing investors’ money.

If the Trump family is found guilty of business fraud, they could be forced to give up their control of the Trump Organization and pay back the money that was allegedly stolen. This would be a huge blow to the Trump family’s business empire.

Trump Children Deny wrongdoing, Blame AG for “politically motivated” Attack

On Thursday, three of Donald Trump’s children were sued for business fraud by New York Attorney General Letitia James. The children – Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump – deny any wrongdoing, and have blamed James for pursuing a “politically motivated” attack.

In a statement, the Trump Organization called the lawsuit “politically motivated” and said that James “is a partisan Democrat” who “has been openly hostile to the Trump family for years.” The statement also said that the Trump Organization would “vigorously defend” itself against the lawsuit.

Donald Trump Jr. also released a statement, calling the lawsuit “ridiculous” and saying that it was “nothing more than a continuation of the witch hunt” against his father. Ivanka Trump tweeted that the lawsuit was “harassment pure and simple.”

The lawsuit alleges that the Trump children misled investors in two real estate projects – the Trump SoHo hotel in New York City and the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Panama. James is seeking $1 million in restitution and damages from each of the children.
