The film has not got pressure from only the christian fraternity but across all humanity. Muslims have equally joined the campaign suggesting that Jesus is a prophet in the Quran (Issah).
The demeaning film has got the outspoken person of The Catholic Bishop of Tyler, Texas to express his displeasure through a Tweet. He is has joined hands with the several crowd requesting the shutdown of the film in what he calls ‘blasphemy’. Bishop Joseph Strickland suggested said:
“Just cancelled Netflix….hardly have time to watch it anyway but blasphemers don’t deserve a penny of support!”
As if that wasn’t enough, the Bishop went on to further to express his disappointing suggesting that Netflix lacks respect.
