The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the biggest opposition party NDC, Augustus Andrews (Chairman Nana Kwasi), has blasted the Benard Antwi Bosiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi.
Chairman Nana Kwasi of the NDC lambasted the NPP Ashanti regional chairman for claiming he is in bed with all NDC Parliamentary aspirants in the Ashanti Region.
He explained that Chairman Wontumi is a comedian who is fond of tickling himself and laughing as well.

Digging deeper in Wontumi’s claim, chairman Nana Kwasi said it’s vivid that he’s just satisfied with only 17 constituencies in the region but Wontumi claims he has selected Parliamentary aspirants for the NDC in all the forty-seven constituencies in the region. He said;
“I think Wontumi is suffering from a disorder known as dyscalculia (inability to do maths) because he claims he’s done with the selection of our Parliamentary candidates for all the 47 constituencies which is never true,”

Chairman Wontumi of the NPP said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would be the decider when it comes to who becomes the parliamentary candidates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in all the 47 constituencies in the Ashanti Region. Nana Kwasi, the NDC chair, however, had a different opinion and told journalists without fear or favor that the Ashanti regional chairman for the NPP lacks credibility and his words are not considered because of his low IQ level.

He further asserted that a party which Wontumi is a chairman doesn’t even recognize him as a credible leader and doesn’t take him seriously because he brags and they see him as a joke.
The Ashanti regional chairman has on several occasions blasted the flagbearer of the NDC, Mr. John Mahama which has got considerable no response from the victim. This seems to be the first of public humiliation thrown to Wontumi by his colleague chairman after bragging that he has since the onset, been the brain behind the opposition party’s officers from the constituency to the national level, and even in the selection of Mr. John Mahama as its flag bearer for the 2020 elections.

Nana Akwasi advised all NDC members in the Ashanti Region to be diligent to ensure surprising victory for the NDC, John Mahama for JDM and all Parliamentary candidates. He also said his party members should treat Wontumi’s massage as one of the numerous jokes from Ghanaian comedians like ‘Agya Koo and Kojo Nkansah Lil Win’ because he (Wontumi) plays no role in the NDC.
