Murshid Web Series: A Different Kind of Criminal Story
It is preferable to forget all that which has been seen in the gangster series. “Murshid” is different! It is the story of Murshid Pathan, who, at one point in life, was a notorious person. He tried to be courteous, but… It has been a wish of a person to harm his or her child in one way or the other. Now, Murshid has to be evil one more time. But this is the good news – you never know what is around the corner. The characters are quite real and not just lifeless marionettes, which makes it feel as if you are watching a real-life situation. That is why ‘Murshid is so awesome.
Kay Kay Menon: The Star of the Show “Murshid”
Now, let’s talk about Kay Kay Menon. This guy is good; he is unbelievable! He portrays Murshid, and I must say the man does it very well. It is one minute, he is this evil character and the next, He is just a father who is very much worried about the well-being of his children. He almost doesn’t even need to act, really. Some of the people on TV were of the opinion that he was the best part of the show. At some point, you may find yourself saying that this is all just fiction, yet you are watching a movie. That’s how good Kay Kay Menon is!

The show is based in Mumbai in the 1990s. It looks realistic! It smells like the sea and sounds from the streets nearby right next to it. They portray the glamorous side of city life and the ugly side of city life, which contains the vices of the city. Mumbai also seems to be one of the actors in the show as well. This makes the whole story more realistic and interesting to read since one is able to identify with the characters.

The main problem in the web series ‘Murshid’ is that we can observe him as an authoritative villain and then as a man who wants to change for the better. It’s difficult to tell what is going to happen in the game until the very last moment. In simpler terms, one may feel as if they are going through a ride at a fairground!
