The death of Otto at the hands of North Korea is being blamed on a member of the New York City Council, according to Otto’s mother.
If Otto Warmbier were alive today, he would be a resident of New York.
This morning, the 27-year-old would be waking up in Manhattan, enjoying a peaceful Sunday off from his Wall Street investment job at the well-known investment firm Guggenheim Securities. Guggenheim Securities recently acquired Millstein investments, the company that gave Otto an internship in the summer of 2016 and a job lined up after he graduated from the University of Virginia.
