The cops claim that the two male suspects chained the cash machine belonging to Bank of America.
Two males were reported to have been observed by police in Massachusetts trying to steal an automated teller machine (ATM) from a Bank of America location using a pickup truck, but they were able to elude arrest.
A report of a burglary at the Bank of America was brought to the attention of the Higham Police Department at 3:43 on a Friday afternoon.
As soon as the cops came, the men made their getaway in their white 2007 Cadillac Escalade EXT as quickly as possible.
The officers gave pursuit the pickup truck, but the suspects eluded arrest by ditching the vehicle in the middle of somebody’s patio, sandwiched between a grill, deck chairs, and a picnic table.
The two suspects, who the police believe had tied a chain to the drive-up ATM, were attempting to remove it from the premises as they were in the process of doing so.
